New for 2020, Marucci the CAT9 (-3) BBCOR Baseball Bat is the latest in the long line of Marucci��s signature CAT line, and has even more improvements making it their best bat yet. The CAT9 utilizes Maruuci��s most advanced alloy yet, the AZR, in which a complex three-stage thermal treatment processes strengthen the alloy and gives it a more responsive and forgiving feel. Coupled with a multi-variable wall design gives the CAT9 an expanded sweet spot and thinner walls designed to be more forgiving on mishits. The CAT9 also includes Marucci��s Longitudinal Groove System, increasing the performance zone of the bat with a system of grooves built across the thickest part of the barrel wall, allowing for excess weight reduction and increased flexibility for performance. Finally, the second generation AV2 anti-vibration knob features an upgraded, finely tuned harmonic dampening system to provide better feel and less vibrational feedback.
